Surah Al-Fatihah (The Opening)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismillāhir-Raĥmānir-Raĥīm
شروع کرتا ہوں اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
2
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Al-ĥamdu lillāhi Rabbil-'ālamīn
سب تعریف اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پالنے والا ہے
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds
3
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Ar-Raĥmānir-Raĥīm
بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا
The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
4
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
Māliki yawmid-dīn
بدلے کے دن کا مالک
Sovereign of the Day of Recompense
5
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Iyyāka na'budu wa iyyāka nasta'īn
ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں
It is You we worship and You we ask for help
6
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Ihdināş-şirāţal-mustaqīm
ہمیں سیدھا راستہ دکھا
Guide us to the straight path
7
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
Şirāţal-ladhīna an'amta 'alayhim ghayril-maghđūbi 'alayhim wa lāđ-đāllīn
ان لوگوں کا راستہ جن پر تو نے انعام کیا، نہ ان کا جن پر غضب ہوا اور نہ گمراہوں کا
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray

الم
Alif-Lām-Mīm
الف، لام، میم
Alif, Lam, Mim
2
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Dhalikal-kitābu lā rayba fīh, hudal-lilmuttaqīn
یہ وہ کتاب ہے جس میں کوئی شک نہیں، پرہیزگاروں کے لئے ہدایت ہے
This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah
3
الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ
Alladhīna yu'minūna bil-ghaybi wa yuqīmūnaş-şalāta wa mimmā razaqnāhum yunfiqūn
جو غیب پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور نماز قائم کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے خرچ کرتے ہیں
Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them
4
وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَبِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ
Walladhīna yu'minūna bimā unzila ilayka wa mā unzila min qablika wa bil-ākhirati hum yūqinūn
اور جو ایمان لاتے ہیں اس پر جو آپ پر اتارا گیا ہے اور جو آپ سے پہلے اتارا گیا تھا اور آخرت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں
And who believe in what has been revealed to you, and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain

أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Ulā'ika 'alā hudam-mir-rabbihim wa ulā'ika humul-mufliħūn
یہی لوگ اپنے رب کی طرف سے ہدایت پر ہیں اور یہی فلاح پانے والے ہیں
Those are upon guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاءً ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا
Yā ayyuhan-nāsu ittaqū rabbakumul-ladhī khalaqakum min nafsiw wāħidatiw wa khalaqa minhā zawjahā wa battha minhumā rijālan kathīran wa nisā', wattaqullāhal-ladhī tasā'alūna bihil-arħām, innallāha kāna 'alaykum raqībā
اے لوگو! اپنے رب سے ڈرو جس نے تمہیں ایک جان سے پیدا کیا اور اسی سے اس کا جوڑا بنایا اور ان دونوں سے بہت سے مرد اور عورتیں پھیلا دیں اور اللہ سے ڈرو جس کے نام پر ایک دوسرے سے سوال کرتے ہو اور رشتہ داریوں کا خیال رکھو، بیشک اللہ تم پر نگران ہے
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ ۚ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ بَهِيمَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيدِ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُمٌ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ
Yā ayyuhal-ladhīna āmanū awfū bil-'uqūd, uħillat lakum bahīmatul-an'āmi illā mā yutlā 'alaykum ghayra muħilliş-şaydi wa antum ħurum, innallāha yaħkumu mā yurīd
اے ایمان والو! عہدوں کو پورا کرو۔ تمہارے لئے چوپائے حلال کئے گئے ہیں سوائے ان کے جن کا تمہیں حکم سنایا جائے، حالت احرام میں شکار کے حلال ہونے کے قائل نہ بنو۔ بیشک اللہ جو چاہتا ہے حکم دیتا ہے
O you who have believed, fulfill contracts. Lawful for you are the animals of grazing livestock except for that which is recited to you and hunting when you are in the state of ihram. Indeed, Allah ordains what He intends

Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ
Al-ħamdu lillāhil-ladhī khalaqas-samāwāti wal-arđa wa ja'alaž-žulumāti wan-nūr, thummal-ladhīna kafarū birabbihim ya'dilūn
سب تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا اور تاریکیوں اور روشنی کو بنایا، پھر بھی کافر اپنے رب کے ساتھ شرک کرتے ہیں
Praise to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate others with their Lord
